Eight cloths. One lining.
One bag, eight cloths. Every bag here is cotton lined with food-grade beeswax worked down into the weave — the cloth breathes at the rate bread needs, so the crust stays dry and the crumb keeps its water. What changes is the front: bakery doodles in black ink, wheat ears in green, honeycomb woven in amber, white flowers on sage.
They all take a full bakery loaf, they all wipe clean cold, and none of them go in the machine — hot water melts the wax straight out of the cloth. Pick the one that suits your kitchen rather than the one that claims the most.

WHY EIGHT
One is always drying.
That is not a sales line. It is what happens in the first week you own one: you wipe it out after a loaf, hang it open, and while it airs there is nothing on the counter to put the next loaf in. So most people end up with two. That is the reason this range exists, and the reason the bags do not match.
HOW THE WAX WORKS
In the weave, not on it.
Food-grade beeswax is worked down between the threads, so the cloth breathes slowly instead of trapping. A plastic bag holds the steam the crust is trying to shed and the crust goes soft; a bread bin does the opposite and pulls the water straight out of the crumb. Look closely at the lining and you can see the wax sitting between the threads, slightly translucent where it is thin.
WHERE THE PATTERNS CAME FROM
We did not draw these.
They came with the cloth, from the workshops that print and weave it, and we chose the ones we would want in our own kitchen rather than redrawing them into a house style. We are not going to pretend eight bags are eight inventions. Our name goes on the back, in one colour, where it belongs.
A bread bin dries it out. A plastic bag sweats.
